Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's talent for athletics was apparent from the time she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first race, Felix was second in the 200 meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then attended an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she was the youngest 200-meter world champion in the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her longtime Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She was consistently within the top three places of the events.
